1. Before installation, check the vertical fire pump for any damage. The installation location should be as close to the water source as possible. There are two ways to install the vertical fire pump to the base: one is a rigid connection directly on a concrete foundation, and the other is a flexible connection using JGD type vibration dampers.

2. For direct installation, raise the vertical fire pump 30-40 mm on the foundation (for preparing for cement grout filling), then align it, insert anchor bolts, fill with cement mortar, and after 3-5 days of cement drying, readjust it again. After the cement is completely dry, tighten the anchor bolt nuts.

3. When installing pipelines, both the inlet and outlet pipes should have their own supports. The flange of the vertical fire pump should not bear excessive weight from the pipelines.

4. For vertical fire pumps used in applications with suction head, the inlet pipe should be equipped with a foot valve, and the inlet and outlet pipes should not have too many bends. There should be no water or air leaks.

5. A filter screen is installed on the inlet pipe to prevent impurities from entering the impeller. The effective area of the filter screen should be 3 to 4 times the area of the inlet pipe to ensure free and unobstructed liquid flow.

6. For convenient and safe maintenance and use, a regulating valve is installed on both the inlet and outlet pipes of the vertical fire pump, and a pressure gauge is installed near the outlet of the vertical fire pump to ensure operation within the rated range and to ensure the normal operation and service life of the vertical fire pump.

7. The coupling between the pump and the motor is aligned. The pump base is flat. All fasteners are secure.
