Vertical Single-Stage Fire Pump Operation and Maintenance Notes

● Before installation, inspect the pump body and motor for damage, check that the inlet and outlet pipelines are unobstructed, and verify that the seals are intact.

● Fill the pump with water completely before initial startup to prevent mechanical seal damage caused by dry running.

● Inspect the motor insulation and impeller cleanliness every 3 months, and conduct a full maintenance check annually.

● When the pump is idle for an extended period, drain all water inside, perform anti-rust treatment, and start it up for 5–10 minutes at regular intervals
